“Four years ago, we installed solar panels at our chicken unit to offset increased power consumption following an upgrade to the ventilation system.
Now, in summer, when the ventilation system uses a lot of electricity, our peak generation matches our peak consumption.
We achieved our return on investment within four years. Had we installed at today’s electricity prices, we would have achieved our ROI within a year.”
